So tasty! So cheap! It’s fast food at its finest!

ive probably eaten more of these than any other meal in the city. popping up from the Bedford L stop’s north exit puts the word Oasis overhead and you dont need to be tired, hungry, or poor to be drawn toward it. thankfully it’s one of the best around. the construction may be a bit rushed when they’re slammed but with such uniquely and consistently solid ingredients, it’d be hard to find a better $3 dinner anywhere in nyc.

the ‘jerusalem falafel’ was recently upped to $5.50, almost double what you can pay for a great pita/sandwich elsewhere, but still worth every penny. every ingredient is top notch. the dolma (stuffed grape leaf) you’ll find inside is among you’ll find anywhere, as is the chickpea salad. even the lettuce they use is remarkably good. hands down one of the best falafel dishes ive had anywhere (including jerusalem)

My first experience with baba ganoush was here, and it was delicious.

I am sad to say that I believe* Falafel Chula is closed.

As said before, you really can’t beat the price and lightning quick service, the falafel is decent, nothing super special. This place is a down and dirty falafel conveyer belt, don’t expect much else. The hot sauce is a little overwhelming but it’s good in a masochistic kind of away.

very good for a falafel chain. i tend to lean for their hummus salads over the falafel ‘handbags’, but they are both very good, though a bit pricey. their strongest card is their wide range of fixings combinations.

the name is what is says it is, especially when approached post subway ride.

their red cabbage & pickles centric fixings are a trademark all their own. plus their service will have a falafel in your hands within 60 seconds. excellent hot sauce. add the hummus for $.50 to kick up the final notch.

their falafel balls are always fresh. very nice seating area as well. just make sure you get the pita and not the wrap.

signed up for this site just so I could give this falafel 5 stars. If I could give 10 I would. absolute best falafel in NYC, hands down.

no fuss, no muss…. just a killer ’lafel. not delicate but not street food.

Actually called "Jerusalem Pita House" but known by its large sign "Pita Hot". Everything here is great, the ingredients are fresh and the owner is one of the nicest locals I’ve met. Though they’ve recently raised prices, it’s still way worth it, a falafel sandwich will run you about $4.50, gyro/shawarma $5.50.

Also recommended is the Jerusalem Falafel, which crams every vegetable ingredient they’ve got into a pita with the falafel. The Shawarma (sandwich or platter) is also excellent. Make sure you ask for hot sauce.

Great, quick falafel in sandwich or salad form. The "Crisp Africa" salad is highly recommended, especially those who like a bit of kick to their falafel.

At $2.50 a pop you can’t beat the price. But one is not likely to fill you up. Not the best falafals (I think their shawarma is better). I’m also not a fan of the hot sauce. For a better falafel in the area, I head over to Sam’s on Thompson. Which I am adding to falafelist… now.

I go here for lunch, and it’s better than the guy on the corner. Slightly better anyway.
